  We stumbled upon this gem while spending the weekend in Lincoln. After a cold hike we warmed up with hot cocoa and lunch. The Egyptian brussel sprouts (appetizer) are AMAZING. I loved the unique decorations, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly servers. I highly recommend and would certainly go back.

  Very accommodating! They took a large reservation and were very friendly and helpful. Everything, literally everything, that we ordered was amazing! We live about 1.5 hours away and would make the drive just for this restaurant!

  I am discerning where I go to get my smoothies, my Mexican, my bbq, my burgers, my rice bowls, my seafood...Gypsy Cafe isn't one of them on any account. Why I do go to Gypsy Cafe is when I just want dam good eclectic, food not knowing what the daily specials even are when I walk in. The food is awesome and choices abound for those with celiac disease or other food allergies. Favorite restaurant for general fare and I've lived many places (including the overrated NY metropolitan area) and currently reside around Portsmouth (which is nothing to sneeze at when it comes to good restaurants). Be forewarned however: reservations are a must in the summer and most weekends.

  Great prices. Burger was cooked exactly how I asked "rare". Drinks were great, love the amosphere, friendly waitress staff. Very diverse menu. This was a perfect lunch.
  
  Needs more curb appeal. If it isn't - this should be your #1 stop for a great casual lunch.
